Dami is a passionate advocate and strategist dedicated to social justice and equity. In 2019, she co-founded We Belong, a trailblazing organisation championing the rights of young migrants in the UK. Under her leadership, We Belong secured a landmark victory in 2021, successfully advocating for a shorter, more affordable pathway to settlement for those on the 10-year route to citizenship. Following this achievement, Dami transitioned to studying Psychology, focusing her research on the health-seeking beliefs and behaviours of migrant communities.
While pursuing her studies, Dami launched her own consultancy, empowering organisations to build strategic impact through community organising and influence. She has collaborated with a diverse range of partners on strategic planning, youth participation, facilitation, and recruitment.
