Community of Impact

Our Community of Impact brings together our partners (funded and supported by the initiative) and the wider sector to build a stronger community of organisations and individuals who work in collaboration to transform the immigration system.

We offer our community:

  • Learning and training opportunities
  • Peer support
  • Networking events

If you’re already a member, you can access the Community of Impact here.

Our events and support

Some of the events and support we offer via the Community of Impact include:

  • Frontline Workers Community Gathering
Every year we hold an annual gathering for frontline workers, where we share learnings and discuss issues relevant to the migrant sector. Below, you can see an illustration about one of the events at our most recent gathering.
  • Taking Care of You programme
This annual programme provides racialised participants in the migrant sector with eight weeks of wellbeing sessions to explore ways they can improve their mental health and sustain their wellbeing.
  • Community of Practice on Lived Experience
We collaborated with the Refugee Council to create a Community of Practice focused on sharing knowledge and best practice around career pathways and progression for lived experience staff and volunteers with experience of the migration system.
  • Support for the migration sector
We collaborated with WRK WLL and Unbound to create several sessions for the migrant sector which included action learning sets, coaching and support around funding.
  • Fundraising & infrastructure support
We provided organisations with fundraising and infrastructure support to help with their sustainability.
