Ernest is an advocate for migrants’ rights with experience in policy, research, and community engagement. He is an Advisor at the Migrants’ Rights Network and a member of the RITES Committee at the British Institute of Human Rights. He co-developed MRN’s Know Your Rights resources for asylum seekers in hotel accommodation and leads a research project on mental health in asylum settings, funded by the Ubele Initiative and IVAR. Ernest also works in compliance within a socialcare CIC, where he oversees audits, risk assessments, and safeguarding for young people in semi-independent accommodations. His work focuses on access to justice, mental health, and strengthening grassroots voices through strategic governance.
